Wedo 2.0 och PF

Finns det någon mer info om när PF blir kompatibelt med Wedo 2.0?
I denna blogg http://www.technicbricks.com/2016/01/wedo-20-future-of-pf.html?m=1 finns detta påstående:

Q: Why do you call the elements PF when the connectors are not compatible?
A: We call them PF because it is linking up to the new platform. WeDo 2.0 is not compatible with the old WeDo. Although all future PF will be compatible with the new platform introduced with WeDo 2.0.

som släpps i höst har dom vanliga PF delarna på kartongen.

Det jag funderar över är om den nya LPF 2.0 även kommer till övriga Lego seten eller om  enbart kommer till Education. Det som jag ser som en nackdel med LPF 2.0 är att det är för låg spänning.
