Brickstory 2017 by RLUG Kockice

[EduardPetrac]

Hi everybody!
I know you're all probably in preparations for Linköping but I'd like to share some info about the new edition of Brickstory by Kockice. Maybe you remember it from last year, it's a history themed contest. For this year we managed to get some well respected judges on board: 2 LEGO designers, an LCP and a publisher of a well known community magazine.

Themes are quite broad and I hope that some of you will have time and inspiration to contribute to the contest
Best of luck with the event in Linköping!

One month is a pretty tight deadline. Don't you think many will not be able to participate simply because they will not have the time to complete their entry?

[EduardPetrac]

Hi!
Well, 1 month to create 16x16 (which can be completely perfect) for a LEGO enthusiast is enough time, and for an AFOL should be a piece of cake
Don't be intimidated by the judges this year ("creme de la creme") if the themes are of your choice
You will make me a very happy Administrator of the contest if you will participate. Swebrick members are well known for outstanding MOCs.

I'd just put two bricklink-orders considering this competition. I hope I will receive the pieces and build my idea before deadline. I'm casually optimistic about getting this done in time!

[Zilmrud]

I will participate

That's the spirit people!

Two more weeks! There's still enough time to contemplate an idea and translate it to LEGO

[lingonfil]

I have one idea. I might be able to make it. Actually if I'm ever going to realize that idea, maybe this is the chance. =)

A purpose and a deadline is often the best motivation to get ideas in action =)

Wise words Zilmrud!

[EduardPetrac]

Just a few more days!
@Emma - I hope you got the orders on time
@lingonfil - I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see your submission

I'm on it!. Did the photo yesterday. I'll just have to put the contribution with pictures and story together and send it away.
